• C-154,new IB with new generation Arneson Surface Drive[ASD] {capable of turning the boat while in high speed}
• Built by M/s Bharathi Shipyard Ltd @ 18 crores
• 28m long with 75 tonnes displacement,can achieve a max speed of 35 knots { 1 knot app =0.5 m/s}

• Capable of operating in shallow water 
• Has 2 main engines of 1630 KW each 
• It'll be based in Mumbai to protect the Western coastline

POST BANK OF INDIA COMING SOON

• Dept of Posts appointed Ernst & Young {E & Y} as consultant for proposed 'Post Bank'
• Detailed report to be submitted by April
• Around 24,000 district Post offices ready to take the initiative in the next two years
• Around 1000 ATM's to be set up in the period

RBI CALLING FOR NEW BANKING PARTNERS

• All domestic private and public companies are eligible
• Bank should not have any exposure to promoter group
• 10 years of track record and 500 crore initial min paid up voting equity capital necessary.
• At least half of the holding company's directors should be independent.
• Applications invited till JULY 1st
