LUCKNOW SESSION 1916
- The session was able to call back many extremists who left the congress after the Surat session of 1907
- The Surat session of 1907 saw the splitting of congress in to Moderates and Extremists
- The Lucknow Pact was signed which brought a sense of unity among the Congress and the Muslim League.
- Sarojini naidu gave Jinnah,the chief architect of The LUCKNOW PACT, the title of the 'Ambassador of Hindu-Muslim Unity'
- The relationship however turned worse after the Chauri-Chaura incident of 1924 during the Khilafat movement.
